1. Is it really free?

Yes! There is no charge for your special evening at A Night to Remember. We will cover the cost for your tux, food, limo ride, pictures, swag bags and more!

2. Where is it going to be located?

The prom will be held at the VENTURA FAIRGROUNDS! (10 West Harbor Blvd., Ventura)

3. What day/time is the prom?

The Prom will be held on Friday, May 31st from 6:30-9:30pm!

4. Is the caregiver allowed to attend?

Yes! Many of our caregivers are most comfortable staying at the prom, which is just fine. Each guest is provided with their own host, so they will be well looked after. However, we welcome caregivers to watch the fun.

5. What ages are allowed to come?

Our guests for prom are from ages 12 to 25. We limit it to these ages to help us celebrate safely.

6. Is transportation available?

No, the limo ride will take place AT THE EVENT. Please coordinate your own ride to and from the event site. Free parking is available.

7. When does registration close?

Registration doesn’t close until we fill up! If you’ve already submitted your registration online and received an email confirmation, you’re good to go! But, space is limited, so register right away!

8. How do I get my tux?

We have made arrangements for you to pick up your tux at your earliest convenience, but the sooner the better, so you can get it sized to fit just right! Your tux rental paid for by Mission Church, just remember to tell them you are with A Night to Remember. You will be responsible for returning your own tux.

9. How do I get my dress?

If you would like to pick out a dress from our collection, we will have two dress selection dates. They will be hosted at Mission Church (5353 Walker Street, Ventura).

10. When do I get my hair and makeup done?

All the last minute magic happens right before the event itself, at the Ventura Fairgrounds. If you are getting your hair and/or makeup done, please plan to check-in at 6PM to meet with one of our stylists.

11. Why are you asking for my mobile phone and provider?

This is used for important event-related communication and is not shared.


1. What is the role of a student host?

Our hosts are paired with a guest with disabilities and stay by their side for an evening of food, limo rides, pictures and dancing. Your sole responsibility is to serve the guest and make them feel safe, honored, accepted and celebrated. You will be surrounded by lots of support, energy and fun. Many of our hosts have said they had more fun at this prom than their own and can’t wait until it comes around again the next year.

2. What qualifications do I need to have?

You don’t need to have any specific qualifications—just a willingness to be fully engaged with the guests and your team, follow through with responsibilities and meetings and have a lot of fun!

3. What are your biggest needs?

It costs approximately $100 per guest to create A Night to Remember. To donate, click here or go to the donate page on this website.  Everything is free to our guests, so the more we can get donated, the better the event.  We are in need of limos and gift cards to the following stores: Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco, Michaels, Amazon, Ikea, Smart and Final, and WinCo.
